Job Summary:
Create test plans, research new features, and develop automated test scripts. The Red Hat Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will focus on testing our Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). You'll perform acceptance, function, regression, integration, and performance testing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will get the opportunity to work with some of the brightest engineers in open source. You'll need to have passion for testing, scripting, and examining how things work internally.
Primary Job Responsibilities：
- Research new features and test plan development
- Develop, review, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases (both manual and automatic)
- Carry out automated test scripts; analyze and summarize the testing results
- Analyze, report, and track defects
- Operate automated test tools and debug software problems
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of solid Linux experience
- 1+ year(s) of professional experience in software testing; development experience is a plus
- Familiarity with a wide variety of operating system components, especially kernels
- Motivated with the ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Professional experience with virtualization is a plus
- Scripting experience with Bash, Perl, or Python is a plus
